Who do I think I am?!

So, Since I'm stuck home from blogher, I'm participating in a BlogHop! It should be so much fun- click on the linky on the left to see what it's all about. So, apparently, I'm supposed to write an introduction about me...

Let's see. I'm Cheryl, 28 year old married female with short brown hair and brown eyes. Whoops. Wrong type of intro. ;)

Ok, I AM Cheryl, and I AM 28 years old (I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around being 28...) I am a mother to 2 mostly wonderful children- Lauren who is 2.5 and Jillian is 10.5 months (but only 8 months adjusted and 4-5 months developmentally) Confused yet? I know I am. Jillian was born at 30 weeks gestation and she's the icing to our cake.

In a former life, I wanted to be a music teacher. I know how to play 10 different musical instruments, unfortunately all of my talent or whatever you want to call it is going to waste, since I never pick up instruments anymore. Part of me is sad, other part of me? Well, I'm a mom now.

I am married to a wonderful man named Adam and we met in university. I was DETERMINED he was just a FRIEND. Ha. Funny how things work out. Married for 4 years, together for 9, and 2 kids later, I guess we're stuck with each other. ;)

If you happen to read through my blog, you'll see that I leave no stone unturned... I talk about important issues, and well, issues that are fun. Like sex. Got a good story for me? I'm all ears.

Thanks for coming to meet me at my humble abode. It's fairly lonely in these parts since I really started updating my blog regularly. :)
Happy Blog Hop!!

Great intro, it's nice to get to know you better. I understand things changing after becoming a mom...I remember having different goals before, but now, I wouldn't change a thing.

Ten instruments! How fun is that! We should have a jam session. I've played the piano for 26 years so I can do keyboard related instruments and simple ones like recorders.

Howdy! Amazing how many of our former passions/loves get left behind when kids come along - and how little we mind. :)

Cheryl, you are blowing my mind right now. I wanted to be a music teacher too!! I play four instruments (guitar, violin, keyboard, and piano). I also have been singing since before I could talk. Music, as well as graphic/web design, has been a passion of mine nearly my whole life. I sing more than anything, but I play my violin and keyboard pretty regularly. I loved getting to know you more through this blog entry. Love it!

It's so easy to lose our former selves when we become mom, isn't it? Maybe you'll pick those instruments back up one day..think of the fun you'd have teaching your own kids!!!

No fretting over 28 allowed. I blew a gasket at 30 all the way to 31 though. Just be prepared, k?

Glad to meet you through the hop. I'm #31.

You seem a little wacky like me. Sweet!

Hi Cheryl, Very nice too meet you. I only know how to play 4 different instruments. I wish I had my flute yet as while my son is playing clarinet I would have loved to play along and show him the notes and stuff. I do miss playing. Stopping by from the blog hop to say hello.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy how family/kids have a tendency of changing those 'steadfast' future plans, eh? I hear ya!
